FIVE NEW EPISODES ANNOUNCED!! SEASON 2 HAS BEGUN!

The titles of FIVE NEW LION GUARD EPISODES have recently been announced!
  • Babysitter Bunga - July 7th, 2017
  • The Savannah Summit - July 7th, 2017
  • The Traveling Baboon Show - July 14th, 2017
  • Ono and the Egg - July 21st, 2017
  • The Lion Guard: Rise of Scar - July 30th, 2017
AND the first footage of the next episode, Babysitter Bunga, has been shown in a promotional Disney Junior video.






Also, the synopses of three of the upcoming episodes have been released:

Babysitter Bunga:
"When Muhimu the zebra asks Bunga to babysit, his unorthodox style soon catches on, and he is put in charge of several more young Pride Landers."

The Savannah Summit:
"While Simba gathers the animal leaders for a Savannah Summit, the Lion Guard learns of a plot against the giraffe’s leader that they’re sure Makuu is behind."

The Traveling Baboon Show:
"The Lion Guard must work together to chase away a baboon comedy troupe that has been distracting the other animals with their antics and stealing their food."


And a few names of some Season 2 characters have been confirmed:

Dhahabu is a golden zebra. She was announced on August 29th, 2016. She will be voiced by Renee Elise Goldsberry. She will sing at some point in the show. Her name means "gold" in Swahili. The synopsis for Dhahabu's episode has been released as well: "The Lion Guard will approach her to ask if she will share her watering hole after a severe drought hits the Pride Lands. She will accept, though only if they complete her wily request"
Kenge is a monitor lizard. He will be voiced by Kristofer Hivju. He is as big as a crocodile and will not take orders from anyone. His name means "monitor lizard" in Swahili.
Hodari is a lizard/gecko. He was announced in December 2016. He will be voiced by Justin Hires. He will sing a song. His name means "brave" or "capable" in Swahili.

Kuchimba is a golden mole. He was announced on May 10th, 2017. He will be voiced by AJ McLean. He will also sing a song called "Nothin' to Fear Down Here." A few lines of his song have been mentioned too: Everyone at times gets a scare / but don’t you let that fear take over / when you could be dancing here without a care! His name means "dig" in Swahili. The synopsis for Kuchimba's episode has been released as well: "When one of the main characters falls down into a dark mole tunnel, Kuchimba uses his soulful singing voice to assure her the dark isn’t so scary after all by singing 'Nothin' to Fear Down Here', to her."
